Ben Tucker is a superstar! Look no further and hire him.
We are a laid-back couple who really appreciated how he adapted his style to us. Ben is a consummate professional who knows what he is talking about. He kept us updated throughout the process of selling our home and even dealt with contractors visiting our house after we moved out of town. I also should mention that he has a great team around him. When the final appraisal came in with some pretty ridiculously petty caveats that threatened to delay closing, Ben and his team of contractors solved it in ONE DAY.
Ben is not the first real estate agent I have worked with, but he is certainly the best! Thanks, Ben!!

I could go on for a long time in regards to the professionalism and dedication of our realtor Ben Tucker! This was our first home buying experience, and the market is very competitive right now. As such, you need a competitive realtor. We found that with Ben. He would always go out of his way to educate us on the process and show us places that fit in with our needs. I could always tell he had exactly what we wanted in mind. Ben is always thinking one step ahead and it definitely paid off. We are in our beautiful home and it is a big thank you to Ben for making it happen. Highly recommend working with Ben; whether this is your first time buying a home, you want to switch up your current home, or you are moving to the area. You will be very grateful to having Ben on your side!

Hi There, I’m Ben Tucker…
A husband, a proud dad to my three amazing boys, and a real estate broker who’s been lucky enough to call Whatcom County home for over 20 years. For the past 9 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping people buy and sell homes. Getting to play a part in such an important process is something I don’t take for granted, and I wake up excited to make this experience a memorable one for you.
I live and work by a simple philosophy: treat others the way you want to be treated. That means honesty, respect, and great communication. I combine that with a lot of hard work, integrity, and a healthy dose of humor to make sure the process is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Giving Back
Drink Local, Think Global.
One of Bellingham Real Estate Company’s core values is giving. We’re passionate about giving back to our community and making a difference, even in small ways, for people we may never meet.
That’s why we support charity:water, an incredible nonprofit that brings sustainable clean water to areas that need it most. We may only be able to make a small impact, but every drop counts. Each month, we host the Clean Water Happy Hour at Overflow Taps to benefit charity: water. With every drink that’s ordered, a donation is made! It’s a fun way to gather with friends, family, neighbors, and community members – and your first pint’s on us!
In addition to the Clean Water Happy Hour events, our office donates to local non-profits with every home we sell.

FAQs
Some Questions Come Up A Lot. Let’s See If We Can Answer A Few!
Buying or selling a home is a big deal, and it’s completely normal to have lots of questions! While I’ll address a few common queries here, please don’t hesitate to contact me with any additional questions you may have!
How much can I afford to spend on a home?
This depends on your income, debt, credit score, and how much you have saved for a down payment. A good rule of thumb is that your monthly housing payment should not exceed 28-30% of your gross monthly income. Speaking to a lender can give you a clearer picture of what you qualify for.
What’s the difference between pre-qualification and pre-approval?
Pre-qualification is an initial estimate of how much you can afford based on basic information you provide to a lender. Pre-approval is a more thorough process where the lender verifies your financial information and gives you a formal offer for a loan amount. Pre-approval is generally more useful in competitive markets.
How do I make an offer on a home?
I will help you draft an offer based on the home’s list price, current market conditions, and your budget. The offer includes the price you’re willing to pay, any contingencies (such as financing or inspection), and a proposed closing timeline.
How do I determine the right price for my home?
Pricing your home correctly is crucial. As your real estate agent, I will perform a comparative market analysis (CMA), which looks at recent sales of similar homes in your area. They’ll also consider the condition of your home, current market conditions, and any unique features.
What should I do to prepare my home for sale?
First impressions matter, so consider cleaning, decluttering, and making any necessary repairs. Staging your home can also help buyers envision themselves living there. Once I’ve seen your home, I can provide specific advice on what improvements will provide the best return on investment.
Do I need to make repairs before listing?
It depends. Major issues like a leaky roof or faulty electrical systems should definitely be addressed. For smaller issues, it might be worth weighing the cost of repairs against the potential return on investment. I will help you prioritize what’s necessary.
